OUR MISSION

We fulfill our mission by helping people take their next steps in their relationship with God, foster a strong sense of community, and inspire them to make a difference."

Our Story

Our vision has always been to impact lives by making church as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.

Our story goes as far back as 2011 when Pastor Daren Patrick and Leslie Patrick launched Crossroads Community Church in Powder Springs Georgia. Our vision has always been to help people take their next step in their relationship with God.

At Crossroads, we exist to help people take their next step in their relationship with God. We are amazed by what God is doing but aren’t stopping here; what happens next will be beyond what we can imagine.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Pastors Daren and Leslie Patrick are the courageous, inspiring, and life-giving leaders of Crossroads Church.

They share this same passion: to see people take their next step with Christ, build a thriving community, and make a difference in the world around them.

Between the two of the they have over 30 years of ministry experience. They have three children Savannah, Shelby & DJ. Together, they enjoy trying new restaurants, going to the local farmer’s markets and hanging out with friends and family.

  • God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. We believe that God is eternal and that He revealed Himself as one God existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    Genesis 1:1, 26-27; 3:22 • Psalm 90:2 • Matthew 28:19 • I Peter 1:2 • II Corinthians 13:14

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return to earth again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

    Matthew 1:22-23 • Isaiah 9:6 • John 1:1-5; 14:10-30 • Hebrews 4:14-15 • I Corinthians 15:3-4 • Romans 1:3-4 • Acts 1:9-11 • I Timothy 6:14-15 • Titus 2:13

  • The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His direction daily.

    II Corinthians 3:17 • John 16:7-13; 14:16-17 • Acts 1:8 • I Corinthians 2:12; 3:16 • Ephesians 1:13; 5:18 • Galatians 5:25

  • The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).

  • Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can Man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

    Romans 6:23; 5:1 • Ephesians 2:8-9 • John 14:6; 1:12 • Titus 3:5 • Galatians 3:26

  • Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; I John 1:9).

  • Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4).

  • after living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8).

  • Man was created to exist forever. He will either live eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

    John 3:16 • I John 2:25; 5:11-13 • Romans 6:23 • Revelation 20:15
